Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Willow Beach! On the day of your kayaking experience, we will meet you at the launch site, which is just a one-hour drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Our enthusiastic guides will prepare you for an incredible day of kayaking, starting with a scenic paddle upstream to the historical Gauging Station, just 2.5 miles into the magnificent Black Canyon. Glide through the water, looking for fascinating desert wildlife like big horn sheep, coyotes, bald and golden eagles, blue herons, falcons, and sunbathing turtles.
Your exciting first stop will be at a historical overlook, one mile upstream, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the iconic Colorado River. Our guides will share healthy snacks, including bananas and refreshing water, while telling captivating stories about the river’s rich history and importance, including insights about the Hoover Dam!
Next, we’ll visit the enchanting Emerald Cave—a great spot for memorable photos. Bring a waterproof bag for your electronics to keep your cherished memories safe! This family-friendly outing does not allow alcohol or smoking. Only service animals are permitted.
